Truffle Feasts

Throughout the winter months Truffle Melbourne partnered with restaurants across Melbourne to host exquisite truffle feasts, catering for every taste and all budgets. From casual truffle lunches to high-end dinners at Melbourne’s finest establishments, Director Nigel Wood shared truffle tales, while truffle dogs Spice and Arrow charmed diners with their tricks.

Our season opening celebration at Chef Philippe Mouchel’s recently opened restaurant Philippe was a sold-out success, with guests treated to an extraordinary six-course dinner with matched wines.

Chef Andy Harmer’s decadent dinner at The Point delighted the senses and featured truffles from Victoria and Western Australia, offering diners the opportunity to compare truffle terroirs.

At Bistro Vue, Chef Adam Draper’s five-course dinner celebrated truffles’ perfect partnership with poultry, featuring Sommerlad Chickens from Milking Yard Farm and matched with superb award-winning wines from Red Hill Estate.

Truffle Melbourne celebrated the end of the season with two sumptuous lunches at Bomba, first with truffle canapés and vermouth on the rooftop, then followed by a four-course lunch downstairs in the restaurant. Guests declared Chef Jesse Gerner’s menu an overwhelming success and a fitting tribute to the 2016 truffle season.
